Can grip, material and overall design be improved? Yes. Are they worth the money - if they last, probably. The time will tell. 3 stars in different categories because I could think of better ways to do them. 4 stars overall because they work and don't feel bad right away. I had VERY trouble opening the case. It closes with a slider that closes a latch, much like a window. There is a hole at one end of the sliding section to keep it closed. The only thing they sent me was a screed in the hole cut off at the very edge of the case. There is no scope to take scissors or a knife to carefully remove the tie.
