Someone from Bay Area

Terrible bluetooth connection. The application totally defies common sense. These guys need to hire someone from the Bay Area.

Do not worry. for wine accessories

Total waste of money. The wine library is practically empty and only works at 75%. I'm ashamed to admit I spent $99 on this thing.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Retrofittable

Lack of clear instructions and difficulty pairing bluetooth

Cool concept but lack of instructions (in the app and virtually no I/O in the box) and inability to work with most devices I own , to pair was disappointing . The device has not connected to any phone in the house. I wanted to return it but my little brother Zoomer got it working on a tablet.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • unreliable

When high-tech meets smart taste!

I really liked MyOeno. Most of the time I had to buy the same bottles from the same grapes or from the same winery due to lack of more experience. This little tool showed me a variety of equivalent wines to choose from and I was very impressed that its directions were pretty accurate. Definitely useful if you are not a professional oenologist.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons

Disappointing: Kitchen & Dining

I expected a lot from this wine scanner but was very disappointed. Firstly, because the MyOeno wine library is too small. I took three different photos and none of the wines were in the library. Not when I entered names. Without the ability to save my results, the scanner is a waste of time and stays in the draw. Maybe they should contact Vivino?

Pros
  • Not only usable for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Has almost everything

Great Christmas Gift

This little device exceeded my expectations. When I bought myOeno I thought it would just help me better understand the complexity of the wine I drink, but it goes way beyond that. He suggested a few alternatives which I tested and really enjoyed! The recommendations were correct. Also, it's a great conversation starter at a party and fun to use. The wizard makes the whole process really easy and enjoyable. All in all, a brilliant product that I can recommend without hesitation and that I will…

Pros
  • Multiple Competitors
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Virtually useless for wine accessories

I like the idea of a scanner that can help me understand the wines I drink. The idea is good, but the implementation sucks. The first big problem is the app itself. They try to make it feel like a virtual Somme. The problem is that the interface is so clunky that it only works about 2/3 of the time, if at all. The next problem is that the existing wine database is 99% French. This means if you are a US wine consumer, it will almost never find your wine in the database. It also means that if you
