Excellent performance for seals

Fits a 2008 Ford Escape. Both genuine axle oil seals deteriorated when they started leaking, which wasn't a fun and easy job at all, so they put it off until absolutely necessary. These seals cost less than half the cost of the parts store and were identical in every respect.

Pros
  • Type: spring loaded; Polygon
Cons
  • Reliability

Perfect Match & Fit

A bit tricky to assemble as other parts get in the way and the expansion of the gasket itself can prevent installation. Finally, just using one block of wood with a hole cut in it to attach a flashing second block of wood to hit it worked well.

Pros
  • Temperature range: -40°F to 225°F; -40°C to 107°C
Cons
  • Poorly designed

That's exactly what it should be.

Ideal for 04 Explorer 4.6 4x4 (driver side front diff). It's a complete bear to install (unscrew all ball joints, pull axle offset, pull out old gasket, then learn new and interesting words while trying to install a new one). But it was a good price, quickly found, and I don't pay for diff fluid all over my garage floor anymore.

Pros
  • Low swelling in hydrocarbon fluids
Cons
  • Some problems

Perfect fit in the gaskets

I have a 2002 Ford Ranger 4x4 that required 1/2 shafts and gaskets. The image provided here at Revain is generic and not an accurate representation of what the print will actually look like. What I can tell you is that they are perfect for both left and right hand output shaft seals. And 50% less than local auto parts stores. I haven't had any oil leaks for two weeks since installing gaskets and 1/2 shafts. So you can buy with confidence.

Pros
  • Ensures quality and reliability with every repair
Cons
  • Gotcha
