Great Tool for Home Safety!

This portable sensor is a must-have for any home safety kit. It detects natural gas and propane leaks quickly and efficiently, giving you peace of mind. The digital display makes it easy to read and the compact size makes it easy to store. The only downside is that it requires batteries, which can be a hassle to replace. Overall, a great investment in Tools and Home Improvement for your peace of mind!

Would give 0 stars if I could.

As a young mother, I feel like I can never pay enough attention to our safety. Bought these gas detectors to place above our gas range and down in our basement. About a month later, my husband and I woke up in our basement to the smell of gas. We immediately called the gas service and sure enough we had a gas leak. These alerts did NOTHING and showed 0 all the time, even with a very obvious leak. No one should rely on their safety.

Simply plug the device into an outlet; good for our kitchen/home

I love that this natural gas detector works by simply plugging into an outlet. It is so easy. According to the owner's manual, I plugged him into an outlet above the level of our gas range so he could see the gases coming out of the unit. Note: If I want to detect LPG (liquefied petroleum gas), I would install this device in the outlet closest to the floor, in the room where the most commonly used LPG device is located.
