How To Get Incredible Sharpness With This Stone

I have a small surgical grade Arkansas black stone that can actually sharpen a scalpel, but it's a bit small to hold in my hand, while sharpening an edge on your tools. This stone is perfect for this purpose. I've learned that you usually go through the grinding process to get the sharpest edge possible, and then as a final step, use that stone with some mineral spirits to take the "sharpness" to a whole new level. This will not give you a mirror finish. If you need a high gloss finish, get the King 6000 grit artificial stone. If you want a finer grit, you'll have to spend a lot of money on a Shapton stone. I bought this stone because I needed a portable, decent water stone and this stone works well for that purpose. It keeps
