Exactly what I wanted and needed in my 2019 RT. Couldn't be happier. The power cord is tasteless, but can be cleaned cheaply.

Works well as a charger but also as a Hella plug adapter. The clip that attaches to the GPS is very thin and difficult to attach. You can tether your phone or GPS with a tether in case the mount falls off.

The mount holds the phone well, it sticks out more than we'd like. Charging works, top USB port is hard to reach. I would buy it again as my 2016 R1200RT had GPS capability but didn't include expensive GPS. I feel like my phone has the best GPS anyway. I want other companies to offer solutions.

This was a great idea, unfortunately this product will not work if you have an Otterbox or other protective case on this box. I have an iPhone X and an iPhone 11 with the OtterBox attached, touch the bottom spring that holds the phone in place and press the volume down button when you turn the phone over, then it makes contact with the phone's right button when you take your phone out of the case and it's perfect for this product. But it's going to be a pain so I'm sending this product back

Well I haven't found anything that suits my needs yet: a phone mount with wireless charging for RT like they make for the GS. Well, this one at least fits the RT and has a crappy charging cable. Its performance is enough to use the phone as a GPS, but forget about listening to music with the Cardo Packatalk Black as the volume keeps dropping to zero. Less than $45 I am very satisfied with the product. There is no perfect place to mount and charge your phone on a BMW R1200RT motorcycle without dismantling the screws or bolts on the motorcycle. This bracket snaps into the clip where the navigation system is to be installed. This is a very tight fit. You have to press hard for it to snap into place.
