I used to have stem caps like this. They look good, but they're actually made of lightweight, chrome-plated plastic. My last set got caught on the stem threads and I had to snap them off with pliers. My wife is alum and it was a stocking. I hope these fairs are better than my last ones. I wish they were real metal.
