Sturdy and Easy to Use Welding Tool!

These fiberglass grommets are a must-have for any automotive welder. They proved to BE strong and durable, and made my work much easier. I love how easy they are to install and they hold up well even when welding at high temperatures....

Pros
  • Sturdy, Easy to Use
Cons
  • None noted.

It works as other reviewers have noted.

As other reviewers have noted. When I weld my metal parts, the protective layer is about two inches lower. I weld the edges so sparks and molten metal fall off the edge of my work onto the ceiling. Hot metal spatter will discolor and LIGHTLY melt the surface of the blanket. So the blanket should last forever. I mainly use it to cover my woodwork bench when welding jigs over it. It's perfect for this purpose, it keeps my wood workbench from burning through.

Cons
  • Requires Socket
