Type of review

This is our second NeoSport Wetsuit Youth having to order this one just because we are outgrowing the first! It works well and fits well. We use it for indoor swim lessons as the pool water is quite cool. My only recommendation is to size UP if your child is tall and close to the height limit - even though they are clearly within the weight limit. The first time we ordered the suit in a size 4 but we needed to exchange it for a size 6 because of my child's height. A year later - (and about 6…

Pros
  • Should fit snug, but not too tight
Cons
  • The wetsuits may not be as buoyant as other brands

Good product but you may want one size smaller

Based on the good reviews, I ordered a size 6 for my six year old son, who is a bit shorter and very slim compared to others his age. He swims in the suit (no pun intended).Nevertheless, I think it's a very good product -- sturdy and cleverly designed. My son finds it comfortable and it seems to keep him warm in the water even though it's baggy. The upshot: he makes it through his swimming lessons now and I'm grateful for that.

Pros
  • ‎unisex-teen
Cons
  • They may not be covered under an extensive warranty

I think it is what it is and fits the bill. I would be happier if the bottom part is a bit longer to cover more leg, but maybe it is so because my 6y.o. is taller than avarege. Perhaps, i shoul've get size 8 instead of 6, but she is skinny. Looks as pictured. My kid swims a lot in the pool and if not wetsuits, she would be freezing every time she gets in the pool.

Pros
  • Excellent buoyancy for easier swimming and diving
Cons
  • The wetsuits may not have enough insulation for ice diving

Fairly spot on Shorty

I bought this for my daughter who is very thin and suffers from hypoglycemia (she runs cold). The fit was decent, there was some gathering at the shoulders and legs where we had some gaps but overall I think the size is fairly true. She wore a size 18 months and so we ordered the size 2 based on her height. In the future I would perhaps purchase one more fitting for babies but the quality of the NeoSport wetsuit was exactly what we were looking for, especially not being "China made" and

Good for the money and keep my 3yrs DD warm

My three years old daughter has been wearing the suit for indoor swimming class back in October. She could stay longer in the pool water without getting too cold. My DD is taller than average, and the suit fits very well.Only one issue, the suit has a mild-to-strong organic compound odor, so I had put it in the living room trying to let it air out the odor, but it never faded away through the usage.

Pros
  • Versatility for various water sports and activities
Cons
  • The wetsuits may not be backed by a reputable manufacturer with a good track record

Great for my always cold little one

Size chart was right on. I thought it might be too small when I pulled it out of bag. But it fit perfect and kept my little guy warmer while swimming.

Excellent fitting suit for my 3 1/2 year old

My 3 1/2 year old would always tremble while sitting on the pools ledge waiting his turn during swim class. There are usually 4 kids in his group. The pool is heated, but still, when you are sitting there on the edge of the pool waiting 5 minutes for your turn, that water is going to start evaporating and you are going to get cold. Maybe not so much adults, but definitely toddlers who cannot tolerate cold/hot extremes as good as adults can. So I go this him this wet suit. He is a tall 3 1/2…

Couldn't have been cuter

I got this for my son who was 1 1/2 for a spring beach trip and I was concerned that the water would be too cold for him. It turns out that he didn't spend much time in the ocean, but this wet suit was a great purchase. Originally, the suit was a little long in the arms and tight around his neck, but it worked just fine. A year later it still fits (as he has grown taller and thinned out)! We have used it a couple of times now, both at the beach and in the pool. It keeps him warm and he hasn't…

Nice Wetsuit for my opinion

The wetsuit seems to be good quality, but we haven't really tried it out much yet. I thought it would be helpful to share the sizing chart that came with it since the chart on revain is different. The included chart has sizes 2, 4, 6, and 8. Sizes 6 and 8 are the same as the chart on the website. Size 2 is for heights 3'1"-3'7" and weights 30-40 lbs. Size 4 is for heights 3'7"-4'2" and weights 40-50 lbs. My 4 year old daughter is 3'6" tall and 37 lbs. We got her the size 4…

Good quality and fit, but a little pricey.

Looks like this will work for my 6-yr old daughter. She's 46" tall, perhaps a little shorter than other 6-yr olds we know. We haven't tried it in the water yet, but dry fit is good in the torso, with a little room to grow into, height wise. Not surprisingly, the arms and legs are a little loose, since her appendages are on the skinny side. The neck, however should be snug enough to keep the water in. Zipper is pretty standard for a wet suit, with a neoprene flap on the inside that keeps the

Great quality but not the right size

This suit is great quality but I got a size too small and turns out we need something thinner so I had to return it. But otherwise a great suit if we needed something warmer.

Pros
  • Quick-drying properties for added convenience and comfort
Cons
  • The wetsuits may not provide enough warmth for extended cold-water activities

Functions fine, but doesn't look as advertised

My 3-yr-old wouldn't participate in swim class because he was too cold. I ordered this wetsuit for him (using the sizing guide from the manufacturer's website, not amazon) because I liked that it was sort of a 3/4 suit. Well, it's not. It's a regular shorty. It has sleeves that hit right around the arm pits and legs that end just past the crotch. That said, my kid loves it. It keeps him warm enough that he's gone from screaming as he runs out of the pool, to having to be dragged out at the end…

Pros
  • Provides some inherent buoyancy which helps build the child’s confidence in the water. NOT FOR USE AS A FLOTATION DEVICE.
Cons
  • The wetsuits may not be suitable for all body types

Great product - difficult to size

This is a great well-constructed heavy weight wetsuit that seems to do its job keeping my daughter warm during swim class (she used to turn blue and shived just 15 minutes into class). My only gripe is that I found the online sizing guide to be confusing at best. I ordered the size 2 for my 2YO daughter who 35" tall and very thin and it fits about perfect (although looser than I'd like in the arms and legs as it lets water in). The problem is I was hoping to order a size up so she has room to…

Keeps him warm! in my review

This suit has worked great for my toddler son’s weekly swim class! It keeps him warm in the colder winter months. 90% neoprene, 10% nylon!

Pros
  • 90% neoprene, 10% nylon
Cons
  • The wetsuits may not be available for immediate purchase at all retailers

Best Quality for Dollar Toddler Wet Suit

Excellent quality and fit! Not rough or scratchy and the zipper is smooth with a nice long cord. I also really like the little "mock" turtleneck for warmth and also prevents hair tugs and tangles for longer hair. Perfect thickness for swimming lessons as it is not too buoyant and provides extra warmth for kids who need it. Read and follow the fitting directions when determining the size. I did, though my instinct was to go bigger, and it fits my daughter very well. You do not want it so

Great wet suit for the price

I bought this for my two year old to wear at the beach. It kept him warm. He didn’t like wearing it at first because he had a hard time moving his arms

Keeps my little one warm!

My 1.5 year old loves the water, but his lips inevitably turns blue and he starts shivering all over. We got this wetsuit in 2T (he wore it all summer when we went to the local lake and at some pool parties) and it has worked wonders! His hands and feet still get cold, but his core is warm and he does not shiver anymore. The suit is good quality and it fit hims well: he is about 23 lbs and average height for a 1.5 year old.An unexpected upside of this wetsuit is that we have a much easier time…

Pros
  • PROTECTION: Helps to shield children from UV rays, sea lice, jelly stings, and other irritants.
Cons
  • They may not be widely available in retail stores

so the size 4 provides a nice, snug fit

Bought this in two sizes. my 6 year old is short and under 40lbs, so the size 4 provides a nice, snug fit. Decided to keep the larger size so that he can grow into it. We use this for swim lessons at the local indoor pool; his lips used to turn purple and his teeth would chatter after lessons, but this keeps his core nice and warm.

Perfect for children

Bought this for my baby girl and it fit perfectly. Now she can spend more time playing at the beach. I use to have to take her out after 10 minutes because she was shivering. Now she stays as long as she wants.
