Having previously had a Nespresso machine I was excited to get these only to find that they had gone downhill. This one is cheap and looks like it. The first thing I realized was that because of their design, you can't even fit a regular sized coffee mug with a tiny, thin platform. Attaching the water tank is not easy. It's slow and you have to place the pods just right or you'll have a hard time closing them. Definitely overpriced and I would recommend staying away from this brand and model.

This is our second pixie. This device is slightly different as it is from a different manufacturer. Some features of our old device are missing, such as the low water indicator and the sealed water tank. Both qualities were valued. I bought this machine in April 2021 and it broke in August 2021. I called Nespresso and they told me to buy a descaling pack and go through the descaling process. I did this and the machine stopped working completely. As indicated in the catalogue, it must be descaled after 1000 cups. I had just over 100 before it broke. Always have a roll of paper towel handy to wipe up dirt whenever you use this machine, unless you are using the capsule hopper and drip tray.
