Fantastic router, worth every penny.

I've been using this router for over a month and it's been working great so far. Like others, I rated the internet before and after. We have Comcast and pay for Blast (150) which offers 150Mbps download and 10Mbps upload. I used to have a TP-Link router and got 9 pings, 64.18 Mbps upload and 12.15 Mbps upload. After we installed this new router, the normal connection got 15 pings, 105.44 Mbps upload, and 12.22 Mbps upload. Significant improvement over its predecessor. Then I connected 5.8GHz…

BUYERS BEWARE OF BUYING NETGEAR PRODUCTS

Bought 22nd July 2018 and stopped working November 2018 Only 5 Months! It was fairly easy to set up and worked with minor issues until the 5 month mark when it stopped connecting to my modem. After spending a day with Spectrum to troubleshoot their modem, we were convinced it was a problem with the Netgear router. So. I called Netgear to fix or replace my broken router. I get transferred to India where the tech tells me he can fix it, no problem but I have to buy a 'Technical Support Guarantee'

I bought this router to replace a rented modem/router I rented through Comcast . I expected better performance and range than Comcast's devices, and most importantly, I wanted to stop paying the monthly rent. The router was relatively easy to set up with a Netgear cable modem (CM500) after I fixed some issues with Comcast. equipment (initially they blocked the channels with a noise filter in the line).
