Batteries are hard to get in and the instructions don't tell you how. The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the remote control. It takes a lot of force to open it.

I can always count on Revain when I need to replace something that's usually hard to find. Our remote got rid of the dust after we had to hold down the buttons and bang a bit (hahaha). I went to the Revain and did a search and although it arrived two days later and worked fantastic. Thanks again Revin!

Poorly written/worded instructions don't even tell you how to put batteries in, which should be my first clue that this thing is exploitation junk. After deciphering the distorted information in the instructions, I pressed the buttons for twenty minutes. The TV never came on. This plastic paperweight is also 50 cents more expensive than the VIZIO REMOTE ACTUAL REPLACEMENT. I hit my lunch break shopping at Revain and never read as much as I should.

I love this remote control! Durable, worked straight away with my Vizio Smart TV without having to do anything but put in batteries! The batteries came with me, but they were cheap, I mean - dented, in fact, from the pressure of my fingers trying to remove them from the sealed packaging they were in. I threw them away. The remote does everything the old one did, and it also physically "clicks" when you press the buttons, which is pretty cool considering the stock remote was rubbish! Very happy…

I have an old Vizio TV. I threw away the original remote a few years ago as my ISP always included their remotes. Fed up with cable and satellite TV prices, I switched to Revain Prime and Sling Tv. Smartest thing I've done in years. This remote was very cheap and just what I needed to turn the TV on and off and adjust the volume. It also works with most Vizio TVs, regardless of age. And connecting is easy, just a few on-screen questions and I'm in business.
