Disappointed in men

I got my shoes on E! wide, as usual with my shoe purchases. This is the first time I've found that my shoes don't fit well as I've developed a severe callus or callus on my pinky toe. On the other leg I feel pain in the metatarsal. I have ordered New Balance hiking shoes many times in the past as I average 10,000 steps a day on my maintenance job. They just don't have the comfort I've come to know with the new Balance

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not the same. in men's

I think these shoes are fake. I bought the same model as my husband's that we bought from the New Balance store and this pair was cheap. The insoles it came with were made incorrectly so the arched part faces the toes so they dig in and both insoles were left handed. In addition, the appearance is much cheaper. The insoles in the real pair do not retract while these insoles retract and are very thin. The underside of the tread is also terrible.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Expensive

Not what I expected

I have just started buying the New Balance brand again. Most pairs, not always with the same model number, were bought in stores. One was a large length that wasn't available in the store and the other was a medium width. The wide one was sloppy and the other felt good. When I bought this pair of 411s through Revain, I chose a medium width. Although it's a bit narrow, I would have been more comfortable with the wide width. The shoes appear to be well constructed and I don't think you can go…

They fit and are comfortable

This is the second time New Balance has discontinued men's shoes after I got used to them. The upper on these shoes isn't as soft as the 605 and 608 shoes I've had before, and I have to unlace them every time I want to put them on (partly due to a recent case of plantar fasciitis, to be honest), but they are fit well and are comfortable to wear. After all, that's what shoes are for. Over time I will decide whether I will order a wide range next time. I find my previous shoes were wide and while

Made in Indonesia New Balance

I thought NB shoes were still made in the USA. No, Indonesia. Soft sole, not my preference. The wide ones fit my platypus legs. Many reviews mention the separation of the sole from the boot - an unacceptable design flaw. I will update this when mine separates. I'm keeping them even though the black-on-black model looks like something from a nursing home. orthopedic shoes. The removable sole pad is flat, there is no high instep in it, most likely the sole insert needs to be replaced. If someone…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models

Confirmed by my postman

I hate buying leg covers. Especially online. I wear a size 13 and size is critical and varies widely. And I buy cheap shoes, usually under $30. But I asked my postman what he was wearing and he said New Balance. He said he walks 17 miles a day: who knows better? Oddly enough I bought a pair many years ago (#381 probably on sale) and they have been really comfortable and have lasted a long time: now they are my lawn shoes and they still work well. So I took a chance and bought these for $50…

  • Delivery was very fast

Comfortable, beautiful and light

These shoes look good, look well made and are very comfortable right out of the box. Walking in them is comfortable and springy, with a sense of control and stability. Update 03/09/15: The soles of both shoes in the toe area have come loose and loosened from the shaft. The soles are far from worn out, but it doesn't help if they come off the upper. Update March 30, 2015: I have ordered another pair of these shoes. They are so comfortable right out of the box and very light. I decided to try…

  • Top marks for support and durability from testers

New Balance MW411 Mens Hiking Shoes

I have had NB 609 shoes for many years and although I could replace them I would not pay full asking price. These shoes are actually more comfortable than the 609s. I'm a size 10 and wear them almost every day. Very convenient. Would buy them again. Update: I buy a pair of these NB MW411 hiking shoes every 6 months. I easily bought 6-8 pairs. I wear these shoes every day. I've found that they start to come off in one or both of two places: 1) internally between the skin and the sole, between…

Pros
  • Slim design

Great Hiking Shoes

I started running 3-4 miles a day during COVID and I have no plans to break the habit anytime soon. At 37 I didn't really think I would need special hiking shoes but this helped me. I also run about 5 km 1-3 times a week. At one point I was using a fairly new but cheap pair of running shoes and an old pair of basketball shoes for walking (the soles were slippery on the balls of my feet). I had a bad calf injury on my left foot (mainly from running in cheap running shoes I think). At one point I
