First shoes, then shoes.

I have to run indoors in winter and I haven't gone outside yet this year, so I wanted to let everyone know that the insole in this shoe is quite hard (this feature should be ideal for cross- be country runs). In addition, the toe protection restricts the airflow somewhat. I may need to reserve these shoes for the outdoors where these features are needed more and then have a lighter shoe with fewer limitations for the gym.

The worst sneakers from New Balance. I used to have 20 pairs of NB shoes.

I've had great experiences with New Balance over the years. I have a wide foot (EEEE) and NB is the only company that offers wide athletic shoes. These new shoes are both too narrow and too short. The shoes I've bought from NB in the past have been more expensive (around $100) but the sizing has always been perfect. Do I really need to spend another $50 to be in good shape? Now I'm looking for a more reliable company. Any suggestions?

There is no structure. No support.

These shoes are called "running shoes" but use them at your own risk. First, there is no sock. This is a reinforced "box" around you to protect you from roots or rocks. There is not even a rubber pad to protect the fingers. Second, there is no heel box. This is a reinforced "box" around the heel to protect the heel from impact on uneven surfaces. Finally, they don't have a GoreTex cuff for water protection like all my previous trail runners. called "slippers".

super wide? Not as much.

I bought two pairs of shoes. One was an Under Armor Rogue 4E and the other was a size 11 4E. Under Armor fits perfectly. The best I've ever had. In previous years I preferred the New Balance for their excellent fit on my stupid wide feet. Unfortunately, they didn't match the brand. I still felt a little tight and it was the widest width I could get. The shoes themselves looked good and in the short time I've been using them they seemed to provide good support while running. So if the shoe fits…

Narrow - Running

Shoes are cool and I think they look better in person. Otherwise it appears to be true to size. I could see someone with a wider foot buying wider shoes. I feel like going up a size (10) which I never wear would definitely be too big. Maybe another sock will help. They are pleasantly comfortable in the mid-crotch, a bit of a soft slight rebound. I wore them to the gym and that's when I noticed discomfort in my toes, but nothing unbearable because of the space. Only covered with finger guard…

I warn you! Huge finger box

Let me start by saying that I wear a size 15 4E. I have for decades. I've been buying New Balance shoes for decades as they are one of the few companies that make them in my size. These shoes are arranged in a strange way. The toe is ridiculously deep. If the lacing and tension is tight enough, a noticeable 0.5 to 0.75 inch hump of fabric will protrude between the bottom lace eyelets. I've never had this problem with a pair of New Balance 15 4E shoes and have worn (and worn out) dozens of them.

Fits differently than Nitrel V1

Every foot is different and sizing reviews are often conflicting. I will not make reckless statements like "order a size down" because that is both laziness and ignorance. However, I can give you some specific information about how the shoe fits my foot. I currently own a pair of Nitrel V1 shoes. I bought size 11 4E and they fit perfectly from day one. I bought the exact same size in the Nitrel V3 and they were noticeably tighter. The V3 toe cap in particular is very stiff. V1 are very…

4E 'Extra Wide' is not real! Watch out, wide feet!

SHORT VERSION: These Nitrel V3s seem well built for their price but - and it's a HUGE 'but' - if your feet are really wide, look elsewhere. These shoes are "normal" width at best. The photos show comparison sizing showing that these shoes - despite being labeled 'extra wide' - are the same size as the regular 12 in the NB Nitrel V1 (the blue shoes I really like). must be real). Also note the simplicity of the V3 insole (blue insole). I've never seen anything like this among the dozens of NB…
