Excellent product. Was able to purchase a device that met two different requirements; Split signal to 2 devices and extract audio from HDMI.

I had to turn it off every time. The review refers to a different product.

The unit had to be cycled on and off every time to display video on my Epson projector. And then sometimes it only showed 1080 instead of 4k. Not sure if the audio is working properly or just sending 2 channels to 5.1. Coming back because I don't want to get up and turn it off every time I use the TV on my PS5. Also, the reviews on this page are for another product that was only a few months old. Hence all the star ratings I believe.

Edited: I would like to add that the company was VERY responsive when they tried to get me another device with a refund offer. In my case, however, I went further and failed. But I got one star for their efforts. Original: This works with one laptop (Dell) but not another (HP). On an HP laptop, the signal on one of the monitors disappeared. There is no sound from the audio jack.

I bought this product to mirror my HDMI signal to a second TV and also to extract sound from my speakers around the house. The HDMI signal split normally and mirrored the picture on both TVs, but no matter what I did I couldn't get any sound out of the port. The sound select button at the top should have been the seller's decision, but pressing it and waiting for a few seconds had no effect on my audio output. I was sent a replacement from Revain as I thought the sound select button was broken…

It worked but not very well

In short, the success of this article depends heavily on the power supply. The only way to successfully get the device working was to power the device via a USB adapter plugged into a 120V outlet. Luckily, a cable and adapter are included. When the power supply was connected to the computer USB port or TV port, the power supply was not enough to work normally.
