Good quality at a great price.

I just started using this and that's all I was looking for. Good solid construction with 2 wheels (one for softwood and one for hardwood). Comes in a nice cylinder for protection. The delivery was quick and on time. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Excellent tool for markers

Very accurate. Once I got it I used the template on the tool and adjusted it to 3/8". I then marked the edge of the board 3/4" on either side. It was dead. Then I marked the groove with a pencil. It was like an arrow. Great tool. Too bad I didn't buy it many years ago.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Nice tool for the price

This is my first wheel marking gauge and it's definitely better than the ones at my local wood shop as I needed one that would allow the marking wheel to fit fully into the brass base plate. and this one does. The cutting wheel isn't as sharp as it could be, but a few passes over the sandpaper helped a bit. I think it's good that you also have a fixed cutting disc. I made a flat spot on the bottom panel to keep it from rolling away so it would be nice to have it built in. It would also beโ€ฆ

Good marking.

I have read reviews that say the dimensions on the rod do not match the cutting wheel, mine is accurate. In any case, I rarely use numbers, but when I need them, they will be accurate. A rotary cutter is really not needed. It works well enough for softwoods, but most wheel markers don't offer this option, and there's a good reason for that. A fixed wheel just works better on any tree. With particularly soft products (no wood), a bearing-mounted cutting disc can be useful. I've found that whileโ€ฆ

inexpensive and suitable for cardboard

Note. I use this tool for notching cardboard; I have no opportunity to use it for fine woodworking (in which case I would choose Lee-Nielsen) so my review is not indicative of its use for wood. Looks relatively cheap (the scale markings are lasered in a rather amateurish way), but the tolerances are fine, no fluctuations, the scale is actually quite accurate and the Rollerblade has smooth-running bearings. I think it's great for everyday use. I would like to mention a mod that might be usefulโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Stuck cutter missing

The tool really met my expectations, but I didn't get a stuck cutter or screwdriver. To be honest I wouldn't use a free promotional screwdriver. In any case, the inclusion in the kit did not appeal to me. I'm not sure I would use a blocked cutter. Maybe I wouldn't use it at all, maybe I'd use it seldom. So basically I got what I needed. However, I deduct a star for each missing item. Considering they were advertised I think I'm being generous in my star rating but that would be a wholeโ€ฆ
