Tegaderm is Dern Good

Tegaderm is great but my only problem is that I have to wear it over the slit on the side of the foot and wrap it around the sole. It often curls up a bit on the underside, making it not 100% waterproof. But I'm sure it would be ideal anywhere the pressure is less than direct full-body exposure. Also, when ordering, make sure you choose either the padded style or the plain one if you're adding your own gauze. It cannot be applied to an open wound without gauze.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

I love this Tegraderm!

I am very sensitive to the adhesive used on my CGM. I couldn't wear this life saving device. My daughter is an RN and she suggested trying Tegederm which I did and it solved the problem. I put on the Tegraderm patch, pocketed my CGM, placed the Tegraderm patch on top of the CGM to make it more secure while hanging and pulling it out over and over again, and phew! so easy! No more itching and burning and no more pulling. I highly recommend Tegraderm! Worth its price!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works best in bandages and dressings

I've been ordering this for several years now! This bandage perfectly covers my 7 day pain patch so I can shower and swim without getting wet. The bandage usually lasts every 7 days. I live in a very hot climate in the summer months, when I walk in the heat, the clear bandage sometimes peels off after a few days at the corners, I just take off the bandage, wipe the skin again with alcohol swab, dry and then apply a new bandage to the painful patch. Works great!

Tegaderm is a great product. I'm a retired nurse and use this stuff every day - it works as intended. However, I'm not happy with how he showed up at my door. Revane, I'm surprised you got this out of your camp. Note the pictures: • The box has obviously been opened before - I cut the tape opening it, the box is torn around the edges. • it says "sold as a set" - apparently I got a box • someone's name is on a sticker on the side of the box • number label torn off at an angle • yet, NOT…

Great bandage for most cuts and bruises at home.

Better than patches for cuts and any area you want to protect from dirt. When used correctly, they provide a nearly watertight seal. You can shower with them, but they're starting to peel off at the edges. I usually use them on my fingers when I get small cuts. I simply wrap the Tegaderm around my finger, close the incision, and tie off the ends. It's flexible enough to bend your fingers at the knuckles. I can wash my hands with Tegaderm applied and it usually lasts about a day. Another…

Amazing Deal on Very Useful Bandages

These bandages are a great deal here at Revain. I recently had nipple piercings and the piercer was very professional and recommended that I cover each nipple with a Tegaderm dressing. I went to the nearest pharmacy and even on sale they were very expensive, around $1-2 a piece. I knew I was going to need a large supply due to the oddly shaped area where the bandages were constantly at risk of sealing. When I found them here at Revain I was almost over the moon after paying only $30 for 100…

Tegaderm is excellent. I break almost all band aids

If you have sensitive skin and need to apply a piece of gauze to an open wound then Tegaderm is for you. I get rid of almost all adhesives, including band-aids and some silk ribbon. I've never had problems like this with Tegaderm. I was first introduced to Tegaderm when I needed an adhesive to hold a patch with a medication in place for 72 hours. Whatever I did, all was lost early. The patch manufacturer discourages the use of first aid tape to preserve the patches, but allows for biosecurity…
