Niagara Cutter 85658 Square Nose Carbide End Mill

Made with precision in the USA, fantastic cutter. The cost is the same as imported end mills but with the quality of an American product. I've used this bit to make some plunge cuts on 4140 chrome moly steel and it's one of the best end mills I've ever bought.

  • Industrial & Scientific

  • Newer model could have been chosen

Good quality end mills but the picture is misleading.

Well made end mill that cuts well. That's the problem. Specifications do not indicate shaft length. The picture shows about half of the total length of 2 inches. Unfortunately for me the shaft is much longer than half the overall length which left me far from what I needed. This is a good product but the picture showing the end mill is very misleading.

Instead of vomiting, he just kept chewing. The shank was destroyed (*sad face*) but the end mill seems to have survived the collision and continues to cut normally. I'll…

Works fine for me. with square nose

I don't have much experience with end mills, so I don't know. All I can say is that's why I did a lot of reading and shopping before spending that much on a small drill press. A lot had to do with the blade design, but I also wanted to be confident in the quality. I didn't want to spend money on something too cheap that wouldn't stand up to the current job, but I wouldn't use it professionally at home for small projects just like that, and chances are I'll only use it a couple of times. so I…
