Complete failure in my Prusa i3 MK3s

I was very hopeful after reading that the extruder used on the Prusa with the direct feed tube worked best, and only without slight heat and feed rate adjustments. may be required. I've tried many suggestions from the Prusa user group and some from the vendor. No consistency other than an insane jam in the extruder. I'll keep trying as time permits and if I ever succeed I'll report back. I've been typing on my Prus for two years and a Tevo with a Capricorn tube for a few more years. Today, if I

Cons

Yes, it can work well on a Bowden machine.

I use this on my FlyinBear Tornado 2 without a single problem, even with a 0.25 nozzle However the printer was installed with Capricorn-Bowden rigid pipes (800mm) and original Bondtech BMG extruder (this is a twin extruder machine) there was no clogging, jamming etc. I mostly print them at 40mm/s.These are functional parts (gaskets, bushings, legs, insulators etc.) so I'm not too concerned about the voltage but the optics are of secondary importance so I disable the retraction. Can this be done

Pros
  • Product packaging size: 8.0" L x 9.0" W x 2.5" H
Cons
  • Available in black only

Also works without a vacuum bag.

I bought this just to experiment. I quickly printed an ABS mount to convert my Ender 3 to direct drive (literally a 5 minute no-wiring conversion), zeroed the retract, 40mm speed and snapped it. Zero problems! At 100% fill it seems hard enough to make in-line skates, but with less fill it becomes more and more resilient. I was surprised when I pulled on it and just didn't break it. No, it doesn't come vacuum packed, and frankly, it doesn't have to be. I'm surprised other reviewers have…

Pros
  • Really flexible (no fill or layer manipulation required for performance)
Cons
  • Piggy bank price
