Great light, highly recommend!

Excellent light! Long battery life. Easy to attach. Brighter than I had hoped. Waterproof, maybe not literally use underwater. Frequently used charging cable. The title makes me think of a talking TV machine, I've never seen the show. I loved it so much I bought it for my girlfriend and she is probably the only person on the planet who would want to have sex with me. So you know how much I rely on this bike light to protect them.

Pros
  • Country of origin: China
Cons
  • Expensive

Lifespan less than 2 months

I received this lamp from Revain 2 months ago. It worked wonderfully back then. Yesterday I charged it but today it doesn't work anymore, it won't turn on. Visited the NR customer service website and did what they advised (press and hold for 7 seconds to exit block mode) and sadly still completely dead. This is a 2016 model so the 2 year warranty has expired and unfortunately the last day for return to Revain was 13 days ago. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Lumens Luminous flux: 650
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

great bang for the buck!

I've been using a nitrider since the halogen days of the mid 90's. I usually do 2 night trips a week. This 650 is light enough when mounted on a helmet. I used an older 250 on the helmet and bars and it lights up the trail great. Used this setup from Pagosa to Bentonville to Sedona. The 650 is great for driving through dark woods and roads, which is what I do. I usually get about 3 hours on medium and about 1 3/4 hours on high. I just wish it came standard with a helmet mount.

Pros
  • 5 modes with running times: Low - 10:30 h @ 130 lumens / Medium - 4:30 h @ 325 lm / High - 2:00 h @ 650 lm / Flash - 12:30 h @ 650 lm / Walk - 50 : 00 hrs at 40 lumens
Cons
  • Slightly torn

NOT for night driving. For day trips only.

This micro light is great for daytime use in flash mode for cars to see. However, its performance is not sufficient for safe use in the dark. The road just doesn't shine bright enough to see what's ahead. I almost died on a big rock because I didn't notice in time while driving down the trail in pitch black darkness tonight. I also have a NiteRider 750 that I bought 3 years ago that outperforms this Micro 650. Also note that the Lumina's flash/strobe modes are about 1/2 less powerful than…

Great light, TERRIBLE mount.

Very small but very bright, I particularly like the strobe function. The light itself gets 5 stars considering the size and performance, quite good. Now the problem, oh my god. The mount is a clamshell with very fine stainless steel threads and when fitted to a 1" handlebar extension it has to be unscrewed about 1/3 of the way to open and then 1/3 of the way back to install, my threads went bad right away and didn't move Put some 3 in 1 oil on it and after about 10 minutes it loosened up but…

Pros
  • Compact and lightweight. Weight: 130 g
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Daily commuter in Portland, Oregon

No, this lamp does not light the road - it is not intended to. Designed for use in urban environments where a little extra front lighting is needed, or to supplement a more powerful light when used on trails or on darker rides. I use this flashlight for daylight and as a supplement to the NiteRider 650 after dark. I have several sections of the trail where it's very dark when it's cloudy and rainy, so the extra brightness this little flashlight produces helps me spot obstacles along the way. If
