Saved 2 batteries so far and paid for itself.

I have a gel battery, a new one costs 178.00. He's been dead for 3 years. I couldn't face the thought of throwing it away. I've used this battery for everything when I've traveled and met someone who needs a charge. Just bring the battery to your car and it will work great. Need some relief for your camp. Easy to use, works great!

Cool stuff! We got a new camper and didn't have our 50 amp mains installed yet, so we didn't have full power, only 12 volts. But we really wanted to stop in our new camper. We only had a 20 amp outlet and an extension cord available. To top it off, the dealer left the lights on in the RV and didn't turn off the 12 volt system, draining the battery. Read the instructions carefully!

I received this about a week ago and used it to charge a pickup truck battery. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, and then tried to turn it on intuitively. It didn't seem to charge properly so I read the manual that came with it which is difficult to read and understand. "Some settings may require you to select and hold for 3-5 seconds". So what? After reading the manual twice, I think I understand how to use it. I say "I think" because I'm not sure. I found the instructions very limited.

Can't recommend - Almost burned my AGM - Update

I have 2 BattryMINDER and have had no problems with any of them. The Genius 10 appeared to have similar features at a much lower price. Most reviews were positive, however, some complained that the device overheats while charging. I'm usually lucky with electronics, but not this time. I let it charge overnight. The first hour was fine, but the next morning the battery was too hot to touch. I'm not sure if this is a defect or an issue with AGM batteries, but I would recommend extreme caution…

The instructions are VERY difficult to follow as they made a lot of assumptions. This is an attempt to help those who are wondering. You need to check 3 things first. 1. What type of battery are you charging? This is very important and the only way to find out is to do a Google search on the label to find out if it's AGM, Lithium or something else.
