🔥 Nordic Ware Collapsible Roasting Rack Review

I used this rack to hold a 13 pound Thanksgiving turkey. It is strong and holds the turkey well. However; When it came time to take out the turkey, the retractable handles kept slipping back making it difficult to get the turkey out, which I did. AT LAST! I'm also concerned that the coating will peel off with additional use, but haven't experienced any peeling yet. I want this to happen with metal composition only.

We bought an 18 liter Easter roaster but found that the roasting pan that came with the roaster began to rust at the joints after just a dozen uses, much to our dismay. Hoped this would arrive by Thanksgiving and it did. I've never used it but figured the turkey wouldn't have a wet butt this year. I saw a cooking show on PBS that gave advice on what to look out for. Retractable handles were important so that they would not interfere with installing the grate in some pans and that the handles be on the sides rather than the ends as it would be more difficult to remove the grate from most pans.
