Poor quality yarn

I bought this yarn because I like the colors. While the colors are great, the texture and quality of the yarn is disappointing. The yarn breaks randomly during knitting, causing some knots in my finished piece. I also thought that the combination of silk and mohair would result in a soft yarn, but it isn't. It looks more like wool than silk/mohair. I will not buy this brand of yarn again.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good

Very fragile yarn

I bought this yarn because the pattern called for it and it looked good on the finished product (hat). However, the thread continued to tear at me; especially when i press on the dp needles. It may be because I pulled too tight, but I haven't had this problem with other yarns. This is a very nice yarn as it changes color throughout the project. I would recommend that you keep your knitting a little looser to avoid breakage when using this yarn!

Wouldn't buy again. Skeins have been shorted

Colors were good but I will never buy this yarn again. at least not from this seller on Revain. The 50g bullets I received weighed closer to 35g. That's a HUGE difference! I know that balls of yarn can wobble a little. but not 15 grams! That's a lot of wasted footage. On the good side, because I ordered two balls for a two-ball system. that was just not enough yarn. This forced me to get creative and write my own template. It was intended as a gift and time was of the essence. I'm so glad it…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
