If you like flatbread this might be for you

Terrible product. You will get uneven cakes. One side is very thin and the other is thick. The grip was also really lost. Not a good product at all.

Excellent purchase! - Special household appliances

Hold the plastic between the plates! Ideal for preventing bulk from sticking and is the perfect size. There is also a hole for hanging on the wall and it won't open on the wall until you lift the handle. Very happy with the purchase!

This is a great use for this press

We used this tortilla press to stretch out individual pizzas from Trader Joe's dough. This is a great use of this press! I only want to get 8 inches because that would be the best size. I will probably buy another size 8 for this purpose.

Very durable. High quality product!

This is a great tortilla press, well built and does the job. Purchase corn porridge (MASECA is widely available in the US), then read the package directions. Important Tip: You need to line the tortilla press with two plastic sheets (I use a grocery bag), one on top and one on the bottom, then place the masa ball between the two plastic sheets and press if you don't. t. If you use plastic wrap, the masa will stick to the press. watch the video

Good starter set, good price

I understand why others say that plates should be folded down the middle because these flatbreads have thin edges and a thick middle. By making the batter thinner (more runny), the cakes will be much thinner, but they will stick to the lining and tear when gently removed. I've only done 4-5 games (ten at a time) so I'm not an expert. I prefer waxed paper to plastic wrap to line the device. If the dough balls are evenly round, the cakes will be more even. I have no serious complaints about the…

Easy to use - ideal for thin flatbreads

Cleaning takes a little longer as you have to be careful not to get the dough off the handle of the folding part. I use a ziplock bag and trim it so the masa doesn't get stuck in the press itself when pressed. One thing I noticed is if you want a thicker flatbread, press lightly as this is great for really thin flatbreads. I tried putting in more masa thinking it would thicken it but then it just spreads out more. Another thing is that the side you press the handle on is the thinner side of the

I've been making corn tortillas everyday for 30 years

Most of these reviews made me laugh. People just don't understand the importance of this press. This is for the corn tortillas! Not flour. Flour cakes cannot be pressed. The dough is elastic. They need to be rolled out. For corn tortillas, you need to buy flour (cornmeal) from the masa store. It's in the Mexican section. Not cornmeal. You just add hot water to the flour. No oil or fat. You should use a piece of plastic under and over the dough ball to keep it from sticking to the press. I use a

Ideal for occasional use.

When it arrived the package weighed so little I thought it was empty. Small and lightweight, convenient to store and use. I use it about once a week. I'm a beginner, but I know how to make very soft, pliable corn dough. This little press is more than enough. I use 1 1/2 oz dough balls, which are made with just masa, water, and salt. and with slight pressure they expand to about 6 inches in diameter and about 1/8 inch thick. There is a trick to make them inflate like a balloon. To start, you'll…
