I needed a safer alternative to my old plastic poacher microwave that was probably BPA free so I ordered this. I'm so glad I did this because my eggs cook so much better than my old ones. Norpro Double Egg Poacher Silicone Microwave UPDATE 11-4-18 Clear plastic top cracked and now it doesn't fit as well, probably less tight. Eggs take longer to cook. The top can fall into two parts, in which case it is unusable. I have always been careful with the tip and have never dropped it. I didn't even wash it in the dishwasher. So disappointed. I used to love it. But it only lasted a little over a year and now I'm looking for another one on Revain. I will not buy again. I like 06.10.2017.
