This is a great basic set for home brewing. I brewed the Block Party Amber Ale that came with the package and it exceeded my expectations. delicious! A few notes: Buy extra sanitizer as it only comes with 1 gallon. I had expected CO2 to bubble out of the lock during fermentation. After a week I didn't think it was fermenting as there were no bubbles so I added another batch of yeast I bought at a local beer store.
