Modification needed, be careful

Sorry nrg require better quality control. When delivered, it is almost impossible to turn the locking ring by hand. You need to remove the plate that attaches to the steering column and grind the friction surface of the plate down to the snap ring (it's rough!) and apply some grease. Problem solved but very funny.

Love the quality and slim/low profile of this fast.

Love the quality and thin/low profile of this quick coupler, although it took a while to get the holes punched and routed properly, maybe that's my fault. There will be a bit of a tie when the steering wheel is released, but I think it is to ensure that the steering wheels attached to the hub are sufficiently bound, overall very happy with the purchase

Once I got it working I love it!

- The paper instructions, not the Revain description, says it will not work with the NRG short sleeve. I got it working by unscrewing the horn plate with the wiring. I would also recommend widening the center of the quick release to make room for the hub bolt. With a short NRG sleeve you lose your horn skills. Basically a flat A/M wheel and short NRG hub attached. This pushes the wheel 1 inch further away from you compared to the stock wheel, allowing you to insert a deep wheel if needed. + The

Great product, worth the money.

Got this for my Miata with Momo which I already had fitted. First things first, you will need a bushing specific to your vehicle in order for it to fit. But it was very easy for my momo hub that I already had installed. The only thing I had to change was the rubber cap/sleeve that fits around the Momo hub as it pushed against the rubber sleeves when installing the quick release - making it terribly difficult to turn around to free yourself. Cut the stem a bit and it will work just fine. Second,

Poor workmanship to say the least

This thing was the biggest problem getting it lined up right for me. I have a regular Taxi Tacoma, so I wanted my handlebars to be closer to what they were before I bought an NRG wheel. I had a 2.0 quick release but it's too close. Now I don't know, maybe I installed 2.0 wrong or it was just a different screw pattern. Long story short, I had trouble realigning the wheel. I'd also like to point out that I'm pretty smart about these things. After finally getting the pose right, I went on my way…

So. NO SPRING under detent means no QD or steering wheel

Quality comes before name so I came to NRG. After disassembling my new Vanderhall I was pleased with a better fit for safety AND a reduction in the big vibrations that really emanate from the Vandy. The connectors required a slight modification, with one side being altered to match the connectors. No problem. If you find that the latch does not protrude, follow the prompts and loosen the set screw to clear any possible obstruction. Well it never came true. I had to tilt the device to allow the…
