Feet no longer get hot

I read reviews on Kraken G12 and I was amazed at the temperature difference with the standard graphics card cooler. I have an Evga Founders GTX 1080ti and it was running in almost 90 degrees Celsius just to play Overwatch. After setting the graphics to g12, it dropped from 80 to 48 sec, almost a 40 degree difference. wow i was very happy. I have used Corsair H55 with G12 and they match well. I had to put the aio cooler on the bottom vents but it works. no more overheating so amazed by the…

Excellent goods! for internal components

I installed this on my Gigabyte Windforce 2070 Super OC 3x. I also used an Aorus RGB AIO 240mm Rad liquid cooler I had laying around. I had no problems installing it on my GPU, perfect installation even with the backplate attached. I also didn't bother adding heatsinks to the video memory since the G12 comes with a fan. My temperature is around 40°C during intense gaming and 28°C idle with the Aorus 240 AIO connected. The AIO fits perfectly, it has an Asetek pump design and also has a latch to…

My GTX 1080 ti has never been so cool!

I have a Zotac GTX 1080 ti AMP Edition. I have had a cooling problem since purchase; I got support that allowed me to replace the thermal paste without voiding my warranty, which was a minor improvement, but I still hit the 84c temperature limit when playing 4k, it just takes a little more load. I've fiddled with the case fans to optimize airflow, but the problem always stayed with the cooling solution on the card itself. I happened to see several reviews of this device on YouTube and gave it a

There isn't room in my case, but I recommend using a more powerful cooling solution like the Corsair H105 or similar. After several tests with the Corsair H105, the maximum temperature under the same conditions was 46°C without noise. You can achieve the same result with the H75, but you will have to increase the fan speed and the noise level will increase…

terrible. With 100% fan, 80 degrees are reached.

I have MSI Armor GTX 970. Armor cooler is basic. terrible. At 100% fan speed it heats up to 80 degrees, and at a more reasonable 80% fan speed (still sounds like a turbine) it gets to 85+. Absolutely brutal. So I took a chance and bought a Kraken G12, even though Armor isn't a reference PCB. It basically works. The metal bracket that screws into the standard GPU mounts needs to be filed down as it rests against the VRM capacitors. The bracket is offset by about half a millimeter and fits…

Excellent fit for my non-reference GTX 1080

I have a Gigabyte GTX 1080 that I pulled from my Aorus gaming console (eGPU). Due to the design of the game console, the circuit board differs from the normal design. However, the Kraken G12 fit like it was made specifically for my GPU. I've paired it with a Corsair Hydro Series H55 AIO and since I've been using water cooling on my graphics card, the temperature on the chip never rose above 55C. However, my VRM lacks active cooling as the board is smaller than usual. and so the VRM temperatures
