The automatic float switch does not work and the bilge pump remains on.

I installed this device a few months ago. I just used it and now found out that it is defective. Unfortunately, this one currently has one No return period, who should I contact as they advertise a 2 year warranty?

Works well - boating and sailing

I was Rule Mate 500, which never turned on automatically. I replaced it with another 500 rule mate and the circuit breaker on that pump never turned on. So I installed an Oasis Marine pump and it works great. The float turns on the pump when the water level rises as intended. So now I can leave the boat on the slipway and not worry about it taking on water.

Don't swim without one!

So I'm going to embarrass myself for forgetting to put the bilge plug in before I put my boat in the water. I have a new engine and when I installed it I replaced the bilge pump with one of these. So I exited my boat, parked the trailer and walked back to the dock only to see the water spurting out of the safety valve and I knew immediately what I had done! I ran back to my van and quickly brought the trailer down, loaded the boat and returned to the staging area. I opened the kennel and found…

Doesn't work properly.

This bilge pump can be manual only (only works when the switch is on) or automatic (which is always energized but only works when the internal float is up) or both . We connected it for both; The boat would have been left with the battery off, but the third wire always powered the pump - so if it was raining and enough water had accumulated in the hold, the float switch would turn the pump on.
