Good heating and great price!

I've only had it for a few days but it seems to be working fine. I set the heater to 78 and the tank stayed at 78. It looks like a well built heater. Another great feature of the heater is the cord. This is unlike most other cheap heaters that only have a 3 foot cord. The length of this cord is long enough for the heater to sit deep in the tank and reach the power plug while maintaining a drip loop. If this heater lasts a few years at this price then it's worth the money. I had a Tetra heater…

Pros
  • Up to 75G
Cons
  • Obsolete

Great product, bad customer service.

I ordered 2 pieces for my aquarium. One arrived unharmed while the other lay in a pile of broken glass. The one that worked was actually a great product for the value of the item as I have seen many fakes at Revain for almost the same price. None of them have ever reached this level of quality. I was expecting this one to be double the price given the design. For the broken one the return process was less than great and I would recommend anyone with a similar issue to just throw the broken one…

Pros
  • For fresh or salt water
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

I ordered 2 and both heaters seem to have gotten moisture from day one. CUT the cable and send them a photo. They didn't seem to care and didn't mention the picture of the heater with moisture inside, their only concern was that I send a photo of the heater with the cord cut off. "I didn't want to cut my line before they sent me a replacement because my fish needed heat. I have no idea if keeping them in my tanks is a safety issue. I feel like their only concern is to make sure I totally broke…

Pros
  • Length: 13.50 inches
Cons
  • Long delivery time
