Inexpensive and works well

This stand is great! It seems quite durable and quite adjustable. The legs/clamps also provide a variety of mounting options for the stand. I love how you can even use jambs to increase the width by 2 inches. I use this with a Thinkpad T420 (like T420 and T410) with a docking station and it works great. You can even flip the bottom arm for a flat, lockable tray.

Great product, quite durable, takes up too much space.

Perfect for my Yamaha P-35. On its lowest setting, it barely fits an inch or two above the keyboard, which is exactly the height I wanted. At its lowest setting, the clearance at the smaller end of the stand is about 7 inches, meaning if you have something much shorter your computer is significantly taller and can't be shorter. The stand itself is all metal, but it comes with little foam stickers to stick on it to keep it from scratching your computer. The metal brackets that fit your desk are…

I am very impressed.

Not bad at all! Instructions at least, and it seemed that a lot of extra screws. It took me about 15 minutes to set up. I only used a screwdriver for two screws. Everything else is solid. I didn't remove the free standing guides from the bottom because they got in the way of my setup (check the link) and freed up so much desk space. The metal components/parts are very dense. You can tell they're built for endurance. I love the clips, they make them more durable! Bought with…

Sturdy but inconvenient for traveling DJ

So this equipment stand has a solid construction but it is not a good product for a traveling DJ. I'm sorry I didn't spend the extra $50-$100 on a top-of-the-line foldable stand, but the Odyssey was on budget and had good reviews, so I ended up using it as a portable laptop stand for my DJ gigs . This shit is FUCKING HEAVY, my gear doubled it's normal weight. Also, you have to take it apart and rebuild it for each performance, which takes about 5 minutes each time and can be tricky with those…

Not a bad stand but not perfect

So I needed more space on my desk in the ATA rack I got this Odyssey L stand. First one of the extensions was removed, not very big, but when you crank the stand to full power, your computer becomes very shaky. Look at the photos I uploaded and you will see the height I chose. i am much stronger Also, don't try to get the stand all the way under the controller if that's your goal. It places the computer on top of the controller and you cannot access the back of the controller. I chose to place…

A bit fiddly to set up, but it's a good product.

I often use my laptop to control external displays on my desk. My laptop is closed in the corner. I used this to prop it up so my laptop doesn't just sit on my desk but has its own space. The stand works well for this, clamped to the side and out of the way. The only downside to this product is the assembly. It's not difficult, it just has a lot of small annoying steps. I understand that this is a necessary evil. I don't travel with this stand (I'm a light artist, I don't need a laptop stand…

Brilliant! Computers & Accessories

I have had this product for over a week now and it has left a lasting impression on me. Many other DJs around town have an On Stage laptop stand very similar to the model I bought. In comparison, this stand feels much heavier and more solid, like I could leave my 17 inch laptop on it. Another notable difference is the bar that holds your laptop in place. Hold a thicker laptop while "On Stage" models have a much shorter lip and no padding. The "oddysey" feature is visible in the picture where…
