Fits small oil filters

Opening range 2-1/2 to 3-1/4 inches. It only blocks and bites the filter when rotated counterclockwise (distance). Due to the one-sided action of the cam, the filter cannot be tightened. Most oil filter manufacturers recommend tightening 1/4 to 1/2 turn AFTER hand tightening, so some kind of tool is required.
