Rides smoothly and persistently at a good speed in the park. They also seemed to stick when I needed them and glided well over my nose. The 101a felt accurate, with a nice semi-conical shape and wide contact patch. Not for the road unless it's very slippery. Please Posers.

My 9 year old son is learning to skateboard and loves the local skate park where he can start learning tricks. He also practices basic tricks like the ollie in the backyard. He's not good enough or dedicated enough right now to justify buying a quality deck with quality components, but some of the lower-priced skateboard kits come with soft rubber wheels that don't suit his needs. These wheels were a good budget upgrade that better suited his needs.

I asked them to replace some old cracked wheels on my son's old skateboard. My grandson uses the back of my shop to ride his when he's resting while lifting weights. He saw that my sons had a much bigger one than the older one and tried to use it for a few tricks, immediately destroying the original wheels. They aren't as wide as my original ones but appear to be well made and should work well. I want my grandson to test the skateboard and see what he thinks of actual use. smooth; smooth.

I used to only ride Bones or Spitfire wheels. However, I needed a reasonably priced set of wheels to fit a setup I'm leaving when visiting family out of state. I ended up looking for a set of wheels with a durometer of 99+ in the 54-56mm range. The bikes arrived well packaged and exactly as pictured.
