Change brand, don't buy again

These lines say they are for the YJ Wrangler, I'm not convinced. They don't even come close to being the right length or curve. Rather spend more money and buy a better set. It has a combination of metric (10mm) and standard fittings even with lines of the same length. 1988 onwards, 6 cylinders, no ABS, in case that matters.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • No performance

Fits great but check all the leashes provided

The leashes appear to be excellent quality and fit perfectly except for a few kinks which make them perfect. The only issue I had was missing the front line of the crossover and having to order a replacement, which set me back for a while. This seems to be a common problem and is the only reason I deducted a star. Fittings 11 mm and 14 mm for small and large.

Pros
  • Many positives
Cons
  • Few negatives

Phenomenal. Fits very well on my 95 YJ for an excellent quality/price ratio. The long line from the metering valve to the rear axle looked tricky without bending or cutting, but it's entirely possible to do it in one piece - don't worry, do it! Installed when jeep was lifted, would have done it again sooner without wasting time salvaging old plumbing and rusted hardware.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Need socket

Made in China does not mean OEM

brake lines were longer than OEM. Not bad as the extra 1/2 is great, but the pair was 2-4 inches too long and I'm worried about snagging on something as they don't tuck in properly without a lot of flex. Also, the end studs were like a box of chocolates, you never know what size you'll end up! All the threads were the right size and very accurate, but the screw heads were random and didn't match from row to row. Glad I had a full set of metric and SAE wrenches.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Long time

As others have said, this is a complete set except for one part (see Dorman H38845). Considering the price this is a lot of brake parts for the money, they work surprisingly well and are very easy to use. Not the easiest thing to replace a 20-year-old rusting Jeep, but at least it comes in a whole kit rather than a whole list of parts you'd otherwise have to hunt for. Follow-up after 30 months of use and possibly 500 miles. Jeep. 2 of these longer pipes tore at a seam next to the exhaust pipe…

Pros
  • . I look forward to
Cons
  • . The list will be long.

but so far so good. the only reason I only give it a 3.

I've only been on LiveJournal for a few weeks so can't comment on durability but so far so good. The only reason I only give it 3 stars is that the installation took a lot longer than it should have due to size differences in the wrenches needed to remove and reinstall the replacement. This may sound petty and to be honest the replacement required a larger wrench which seems to indicate the fittings are stronger than the original (assuming what I replaced was the original) but 100 -times easier

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are flaws
