This chain guide does not match the description. This chain cover is not "AL7075 High Strength Aluminum Alloy". It is fragile and breaks easily. It was broken before it got on the bike. I do not recommend this chain guide. The photographs also do not show any inscriptions on the mount.

Installed on my wife's e-bike a few months ago. She drove a few hundred miles with the protection. Where she lost her chain every week, she never lost it. The woman is happy, the man is happy. I had to modify it a bit to fit the e-bike's large down tube, it just fitted without the rubber pad.

I chose this as extra security for my 1x9 conversion (from 3x9). It's inexpensive and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Included with the bike were extra bolts/washers and a shim (for clamping a narrower seat tube). Without the use of additional parts, it weighs 52g to fit my 34.9mm seat tube. Easy installation/configuration, no hassle, no complaints.
