Installed on 36' Express in cab switch box. After 4 days of operation a relay on the NC side has failed and needs to be pressed to allow the NC connection.

The product is intended for the marine environment but I use them to start the torque converter lock-up solenoid on my classic truck. The environment under the car can be wet and harsh , and I need the little insurance these waterproof relays provide.

I've used them for vehicles and for Halloween. They are waterproof, at least splash and splash proof. The cable pigtails are of high quality, the seals are silicone, the relays are strong, there is a diagram directly on the relay how to connect. I like to buy parts and tools that I can rely on and I have purchased these relays more than once.

Custom installed them on his truck to turn on the offroad lights. They are well made and sealed to keep water and dirt out. There were no problems installing them, they look great, just like they came from the factory. There are many installation options with them. Usually open or closed options, making them versatile. Great value and more for future projects.

I just got it in the mail so haven't had a chance to hook it up but my first impressions are very positive. They appear to be quite durable and have a good waterproof base. The wires for the coil (85 and 86) are 16 AWG and appear to be PVC insulated. Wires for 87, 87A and 30 are 12 AWG and also have a PVC jacket. The wires are all just under 4.5", so I was a bit disappointed that they weren't more. Overall though, I'm very happy with the output quality.

The previous owner upgraded my car with loud Hella two-tone horns. I used these relays to replace a standard relay that seemed to "pop" quite a lot. After replacing the serial relay, there were no problems. I like the tight, watertight seal this relay socket provides - which is really good considering this relay is mounted just behind the grille where it will be exposed to both high temperatures and the occasional wet weather in rainy weather.

Very well made and uses 12 AWG wires for input and output. 86) Yellow - Exit N/C (87a) Blue - Exit N/O (87) This is not the case. All five they sent me have the red wire going to pin 87, not pin 30. Pin 30 is powered by the blue wire. I emailed them and they said all five were probably hooked up incorrectly. Strange, but I understand there can be mistakes. They offered to fix the problem - I declined as it didn't make much of a difference to me. And I can report that they work as advertised for
