Very good product! fits radiator fan

This fan switch works like a champ! It is very easy to install and the price is good for the pocket. My Civic 99 immediately turned on the radiator fan! Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Nickel or brass terminals for excellent conductivity
Cons
  • Hard to tell

The part is not of good quality. Will break with proper tightening

This product is not a genuine Honda product. This morning I installed this fan switch in my car. When I applied the required torque with a torque wrench, this fan switch broke in half. It took an hour to remove the broken piece from the radiator. This is a cheap Chinese alternative. Either buy this thing from Honda or buy the $30 version from Amazon. It is very disappointing to find out how thin the brass used in this piece is.

Pros
  • Fits, forms and performs as expected
Cons
  • Small parts

Complete switch and relay junk

This switch worked at first but then I noticed my engine was constantly overheating and I was losing coolant. My radiator and thermostat are brand new so this shouldn't happen so I bought a special funnel to get all the air out of the cooling system. What did I find? The coolant will boil a little and the thermostat will open to let in coolant from the radiator. However, at this point the fan must be on to cool the coolant while the thermostat is allowing fluid through. I watched the coolant…

Pros
  • Corrosion resistant brass body
Cons
  • Not bad but...
