Small but powerful Water pumps

This pump is small but powerful. I set it up externally on a 400 gallon endurance system and it works great. I installed it within a few weeks and had no problems with the pump. The feeding function is just great.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some little things

I would recommend this pump

Good little DC return pump, especially for the price. It's quiet and does the job as advertised. In fact, I like the remote more than Jebao. The pump itself is white with black inserts and matches my sump and protein skimmer. 5 stars from me, just don't know how well it holds up. We've been using it for about a month now, no problems.

Very surprised how well it works!

I originally bought this just for mixing salt water, but after turning it on and testing I ended up using it as my main return on my 75 gallons. It's almost silent and the pulse wave mode seems pretty good (but I can turn it off). I had an old Mag 7 and it works much better! Pleasantly surprised! I'll update when it dies in a month or so but for the price it's great.

Pros
  • Consistent results when tested

  • Nothing

Controller stopped working

The pump is still working after 45 days but I can't control the speed. It gets stuck at low speed and the controller doesn't work. I've tried restarting the device several times to no avail - as soon as I touch the controller, it doesn't respond. This happened just after the return window so I'm stuck with it now. I can't find the manufacturer online so I don't know who to contact which is very frustrating.

Great pump - fish and aquatic animals

I love this pump, it's quiet and pushes a lot of water, my only complaint is that it doesn't come with an adapter to connect the "witch" PVC pipe to it . This is what most people use for a swamp. Even the 1" fitting it comes with will not work with 1" flexible hose. When I put the hose on and twisted it the hose came loose, I tried zip ties and plastic ratchet ties but still not tight enough I had to glue PVC pipe to one of the fittings to use it

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Unfashionable

The plug was broken on arrival, a tear in the inlet shield

When I got into this pump the screen around the inlet was torn. No problem... fixed with superglue. Installed my new sump in my 120 gallon reef tank and pumped 100 corals and wildlife with the dumb pump that went on and off. The plug was defective. We didn't have any other pump and were already completely carried over from the old tank so we cut and spliced the wires together and removed the plug adapter near the control box. Avoid this item and get something better.

Great price for a serious pump!

This inexpensive income was needed to replace my second $400 Vectra L1 Ecotech in as many years. After spending almost $1000 I decided to give this little guy a try and I have to say right away that I'm impressed. The build quality seems solid and it comes with a range of different sized return adapters. It pumps your head up about 12 feet per minute and is twice as powerful as its four times more expensive counterpart! Very satisfied, can't say how long it will last, but will upgrade when the…

Pros

Cons
  • Reliability

I have a pet shop and we installed a new aquarium system and decided to give it a try as it is very similar to another brand that I use in the shop. We didn't need a lot of pressure. The climb was about 8ft and there was a lot of elbowing and the like to take the pressure off. I used 1 of these for every 2 sections. Despite all this, it seems that he is doing his job well. This is a far cry from 2700 gallons per hour, but I understand this is due to knees in piping, multiple exits and of course

Impressed with how quiet it is, a bit underpowered

So I have a 75 gallon tank with two turtles. My only pump decided to die. I ordered this quickly thinking it would have some pressure at 1320gph but unfortunately it didn't. It's very quiet compared to the last two cheap ones I bought. I hope this lasts longer than 6 months. I'm fine with the fact that it doesn't have a lot of pressure because it's so quiet. I don't even hear the hum, all I hear is water dripping, and I'm more than happy to get a good night's sleep without the noisy pump…
