Stable, accurate, worth the money.

I'm very glad I didn't listen to the skeptics about this product. You may have received a bad set, but all four pieces of the tool I purchased are accurate and correct. All made of heavy cast metal, polished smooth on the front sides. I was skeptical because of the many negative reviews. So the day it arrived I pulled out my frame square and my best, truest level. All four parts (ruler, protractor, 45-90 and 90) were flat and correct. The protractor was accurate enough that the small deviations

Precise centering head, good value for money.

I was impressed with the accuracy of this square set. I bought it for a centering square and didn't use a combination square or protractor head (I actually redesigned them). We use combo and center squares a lot, and we have several (one for each place we need to use it). We have Starretts for precision work and where we use combination squares most often, but I really don't want to spend that kind of money in places where tools can get damaged or where accuracy really isn't that important. Poor build quality - buyer should be warned

Bought it claiming it was value for money. The buyer is warned that you get what you pay for. I think it will do in a pinch, but I'm looking for the best product with the best build quality. The only detail of decent quality is the ruler to which the guides are attached, it seems reliable and accurate. The three "devices" that mount are made of aluminum (which makes them light), but that's their only advantage. The mounting points are poorly designed, resulting in a probe and goniometer that…
