Save money with this blade!

I used this blade to cut a laminate countertop. I see no difference between cutting this tool and cutting a Festool blade - both leave a splinter-free cut. I will replace this blade with the same product when it becomes dull. Considering the cost of this blade, I'm well within my budget to replace it long before it begins to chip.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

good value for money good for circular saw blades

I have used several of these blades of various sizes and tooth counts. I think they are good value for money and a good alternative to more expensive blades. I don't think they're as good as Freud's blades for critical work, but they work well for most of what I do. I would buy again without hesitation. The uploaded photo is made from very old and dried oak plywood and the veneer is wafer thin. I think the results speak for themselves.

Pros
  • great construction
Cons
  • incredible price

Looks just as good as a Festool blade, but maybe less durable?

Festool chainsaw, which I have owned since 2004. It's a great tool that continues to work like new, although I have no regrets. Given the build quality of the saw I have little doubt that Festool blades are top notch and will likely stay sharp longer than this cheaper blade. But so far the Oshlun performs comparably so no regrets or qualms about using it as a spare when sending in my Festool blades for sharpening.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Suitable for

The best replacement for Festool at a third of the price.

I see no difference between my Festool blade and this one. Smooth cut with a nice shiny feel. There are few things that are better options than Festool replacement parts, and they all come at a better price. Examples include t1) Makita's anti-splinter chain tape, which is much cheaper and better.2) Bosh 35mm hose for $30 compared to Festool's 36mm hose at a ridiculous price.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Good alternative to Festool

This saw blade is a very inexpensive alternative to the Festool saw blade. I have tried several 48 tooth blades and they are very good. However, they don't stay sharp for as long as Festool blades. Although for 1/5 the price I'm not complaining. I just make a few more cuts with the Oshlun blades and I'm happy. 28-tooth blades are good, but they're thicker than 48-tooth blades (2.5mm vs. 2.2mm) and you'll find that they put extra strain on the spall guard. It doesn't matter, but if 100% accuracy

Needed for plastic, helped and great price

I needed a TCG blade to cut acrylic without chipping or melting. By slowing down the Festool TS to 1 none of this happened. While I wouldn't call the cuts "glassy smooth," that's an unreasonable expectation. Festool released their own TCG blade, which costs a million times more anyway, which I don't need every day. Dust (chips) pickup was satisfactory, not perfect, but much better than my router table. This is one of the few games in town, but not a bad option. I'll probably try this on some…

Pros
  • delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled

another great blade

I am a big fan of Festool. Well I have to say that I really like the Festool products that I currently own. I've had some "green" tools that, well, suck. The chainsaw is one of my favorites. Yes, it lacks a bit of power when cutting bevels, but I rarely use it for such cuts. One thing that I don't think Festool can handle is blade making. I've had a couple of Kapex saws and the blades that come with them are pretty sad. The fact that they offer a $1400 60 tooth miter saw blade is just…

Pros
  • Everything great!
