I wanted to increase the height of my TV stand. They were perfect down to their installation. They look great, they seem solid, but they were horrible to install.

These and the other metal legs I've bought are great. They have a hole in the top which makes them easy to attach to a wooden board. It's extremely easy to build shelves (for the top of a table or desk) and tables with the many metal legs that are now available.

Very disappointed to see 4* stars for them. I wish I had read more reviews about poor packaging and chipped paint. You should also consider the complexity of your installation. They may want to sell them without paint at a lower price, and they may not receive as many complaints and returns. You need to find someone who can deliver the best finish quality.

I was so disappointed when I opened the package with these legs. It was exactly what I wanted except 3 of the 4 legs had sensors, scratches and dents. The damage was so extensive (some depth gauges had sharp edges) that repainting them yourself was out of the question. I considered trying again and ordering again, but with other reviews also complaining of shipping damage I figured it wasn't worth the hassle. Bought because the design looks good. Bad: 1) Legs had chipped/peeling paint in multiple places (may indicate a few things: poor quality control, low build standards, etc.) 2) Were the screws that came with the kit long and with drywall anchors? Are these legs intended for plasterboard decoration? wtf. Be creative: after finding the right screws for these legs, you'll have to screw them in at an angle as there's no room for a screwdriver.
