Fits 2014 VW Transmission Pan

I was faced with a dilemma when changing the transmission oil on my 2014 VW Tiguan and realized I forgot to purchase the transmission oil fill adapter. This little one saved my day, Amazon delivered it to me within 1 day and I was able to fill the transmission oil pan. It's durable and does the job, I highly recommend this part.

A lot of bad design looks like this car

A must have if you own or service a 2002 Ford Explorer or similar vehicle without a dipstick tube. Otherwise you will often change the transmission. A workable solution to one of Ford's dumbest ideas. Many failed designs pop up on such vehicles, most of which I've been able to reverse engineer, but this tool is the simplest solution to regular transmission oil changes.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Expensive

Perfect for a 2003 Ford Thunderbird Roadster to check the transmission oil as the transmission is sealed no dipstick so you can use this little guy determine whether it is too much or too little, then fill in the gear oil manually with a hand pump or drain off if there is too much fluid, we do that anyway and so far so good!

Otherwise things like gears that stop pumping fluid under the .

I have long believed that engineers who design cars should never work on them. Otherwise, things like transmissions, which require fluid to be pumped under a car, simply wouldn't exist. But because they exist, this little tweak is the answer to a question no one asked. I needed this for my 2002 Ford Explorer and it worked straight away as it should.

I still curse Ford for even needing it.

Charging adapter was as advertised, worked as expected, only criticism aside from the purchase was the price. You could probably find something at Home Depot that would work the same for $2, but was in a hurry, didn't know the specs, and was a little worried about getting something the wrong size, with the wrong threads, and damaging the fork, which would mean another order, another delay and probably an insane price. It had to get the Explorer back on the road really quickly. The hose on the…
