A very strong (and heavy!) tool - too bad the adapter kits cost the same!

The tool is excellent and the price is competitive compared to other tools of the same size. It's a shame that the corresponding adapter set costs as much as this tool itself! Full use of this tool as the hole on one end of the tool is larger compared to other tools making the transition piece almost necessary for that end. (from the 2-piece adapter set) that are used because most other adapters do not fit exactly. I can't rate it higher than 3 stars as this tool really requires an overpriced 2

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

It's a beast - F250 ball joints and crosses

I have the smaller 6" yoke that comes with most ball joint kits. This was about 1 inch shorter than the Dynatrac ball joints in the F250, after all necessary adapters. Making the gimbals was very difficult with less pressure. I bought it for the other side. Ball joints and U-joints have been around for 13 years, so yes, they're stuck. The snap-on MG725 ran out of gas. Put a 3/4" Matco punch on it and bam! - a little puff of smoke and a free joint. No damage was done to the C-frame. All those…

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive

Should have bought this a long time ago.

Job: Removing and installing upper ball joints in a 2000 Toyota Tundra πŸ˜‘ This job sucked. BUT I'm leaving this here to let people know that the stock 6" standard C-frame press that comes with kits was NOT wide enough to accommodate all the adapters, receivers and ball joints, so after a ride after a ride and rent after rent from Oreilys we broke down and bought this! And thank God we made it. Got the job done in no time with more than enough room across the width! (Others say it's about 9"…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
