super sharp! best in kitchen and dining room

I cut my thumb 2 times with little effort. Yes, it's that spicy which is why I'm giving it a 5 star rating. I love this knife, I use it almost every day. I don't use it for slicing recipes, I mainly use it for slicing sandwiches, opening packages, slicing fruit and the like. I highly recommend this product, I have another OXO utility knife that I also use regularly (it has a different tip). Also a lot.

Perfect before it starts to rust

I bought this serrated version of the Oxo knife because we have the same type of Henckel that I use all the time but didn't want to lose money . for each other. Oxo was a good price and I've always been happy with other products I've bought from them. My wife scolded me a bit for being cheap, which I could have defended had this knife started to rust no less than 45 days after it arrived. I think sometimes you really do get what you paid for.

OXO 22181 5 " Utility Knife

Be careful, this knife comes very sharp straight out of the box. If you have a bad habit of cutting yourself - like I did before buying this knife - you can You'll get a few cuts and nicks. The handle of the "Good Grips" knife could be thicker, but it's comfortable and slip-resistant. The balance is okay too, and the point, given its shape, goes surprisingly well with fruit and veg. The Serrated edge slices through fruit and veg or slices back and forth with little effort With the Prime…

Disappointed with the description, not a good general purpose knife.

Serrated edge easily cuts tomatoes, lemons and berries, plums, peaches. But the blade is very thin and not strong enough for harder foods like apples. I was expecting a utility knife but not of good quality. Affordable so you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Excellent design

Great product, great price and delivery

I saw a review of this product in one of the blogs I read. It turned out to be as wonderful as the reviewer said it was. It's small enough for me to hold comfortably and slices through a variety of fruits, veggies, and proteins very well. It's also quite cheap, which was a real surprise for the quality. This is a clear goalkeeper.

Great for slicing tomatoes and pineapples

A food blogger mentioned this to be his new favorite knife so I thought hell I'd give it a try. VAUZA! It is very nice. The serrated blade is VERY sharp and cuts through food easily. I love it for slicing tomatoes because it goes right through the skin. Cutting raw chicken is a dream and cuts through the skin. It's fast on everything I've used it for so far. The only downside is that it cannot be washed in the dishwasher. I'm not sure why that is, but it says so on the packaging. Oh, and if I'm
