Not much to say about these capacitors. They do pretty much what you would expect proper bipolar capacitors to do. The packaging is a bit redundant (which presumably makes it difficult to place inside) but overall I don't think that's really a problem. The capacitors seemed pretty close to their rating (for the record, that's 133uF - I forgot the exact value they calculated as capacitors tend to come in some very specific sets), but then I just could check what I obviously had on hand, and…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

bass blocker! to install speakers

I just replaced all the factory speakers in my car and wasn't happy with the sound. Did a little research and found that the OEM speakers already have a filter. Bought a couple of these for my speakers. Quick 5 minute setup and man. What a huge difference!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Something different

Mandatory for 3.5 " speakers in 5th gen Rav 4

Well, my 3.5" JBL 3020 speakers gasped at heavy base music. So here we are, my previous 3.5 inch Kicker DS speakers. I got this and put it into my current JBL setup and it no longer crackles but I still have bass. The cracking problem has been fixed. For the speakers I have a Factor radio and for the bass there is a 12" subwoofer with lc2 audio control and a 400 watt amplifier.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Works well but remember you are only buying one capacitor

These bass blockers are great for any small speaker. The bass blocker is a simple condenser. That's 133uF, which cuts off low frequencies of 300Hz and below. Any bipolar 50v 133uF will do. I installed them on my 3.5 inch speakers and now I can crank the volume up without distortion. I recommend 300Hz or 600Hz for aftermarket 3.5" or 4" speakers.

Pros
  • Car AV Installation
Cons
  • Some small things

Pros
  • Automotive and automotive electronics
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
