I have a Rockford P3 subwoofer and a 500w Alpine mono amp in my CR-V and sometimes the subwoofer would make a very loud bang when the car was off. I haven't had this problem and I have a top of the line Bose audio system in my car with a standard amp pushing the power through this thing and I usually listen to my music at 50 volume (my system maxes out at 65) I guess folks Those who are having issues with it are probably full scrolling boost or something. My TV doesn't have audio outputs with adjustable volume so I bought this converter to bypass my TV's (horrible) internal speakers.
