Didn't last more than 3 months!

Due to a manufacturer error this converter only lasted a few months and then broke which cost a lot more money to replace. I got a new one from Pacesetter but they didn't pay for shipping and I had to pay to return the old one. A converter failure damaged my second converter which was replaced when the first was installed and also had to be replaced.

Obstructionist defective parts warranty.

The item failed during warranty service. I took the car to a professional mechanic and he said he couldn't find any other problems with the car. I tried to make a warranty claim and got an awkward warranty claim process that my mechanic says he's never experienced. I would advise anyone not to buy their products, they are of poor quality and the company is dishonest.

This Cat system worked well, a few things to note

This Cat system worked well, a few things to keep in mind: First, wearing heat shields gives you a headache ! It is best to buy an exhaust gas heating tape right away and save a lot of time and trouble. Second, you have to walk several kilometers before crampons are really effective. After about 350 miles I finally got my emissions going. Oh yes, by the way, you need new rivets, since they are not included in the 3 series.

Everything went well. There was a small exhaust leak, although new gaskets were used on all three joints, but after a week of riding it was tightened up again and I'm pretty sure it's fixed. I wrapped it in titanium foil but was still able to get all the factory heat shields back except for a couple of gaps. I bought this because my factory unit had a crack but had struggled with CEL for years and the dealer sued the cat. Converter. I haven't had any codes since installing it. The dealer saidโ€ฆ

I passed the state examination with very good grades.

The product is good but not complete. This product contains only what you see. This kit does not include gaskets, fasteners or heat shields. You will need to purchase manifold gaskets, studs and nuts, and rear flange gasket, studs and nuts. You will also need to purchase (11) 1/4 "X1" bolts and nuts (to reassemble the eight heat shield pieces). The installation took 4 hours from start to finish. I had to heat, remove and repair six frozen bolts, carefully removing the heat shields from theโ€ฆ

Working and available!

This product fits and performs exactly as it should and is a very affordable alternative to other options on the market. Remember that standard heat shields cannot be reinstalled as this unit does not come with all of the small screws needed to reattach all of the heat shields. I used a DEI manifold wrap kit and products required for installation and recommend purchasing and have had no heat transfer issues (less efficient engine or air conditioning cooling system) after removing the heatโ€ฆ

Works great for me. Fits well

I was having some problems with my 2008 Subaru when the check engine light came on. After tracking down the issues, I couldn't disable CEL. The dealer wanted to bill me $1,200. I chose this pacesetter block and did the work myself. The unit came with a bare finish, not polished like the picture. After reading the reviews I bought an exhaust sleeve to control the heat so I didn't bother with the fairing. I was just concerned with the fit. Removing the old one wasn't difficult.
