Pack Zodiac Breakaway Flea Collar Review

I have now tried three different collars, four medications and three flea bombs. This product has been more effective and has not caused any problems for my cats. It should be noted that the tear-off mechanism does not require much effort when putting the collar on a cat.

I'm not sensitive to strong smells, scents or even perfume but this one was too strong! The smell could be smelled from a few feet away and I don't know what my cats thought but my head has been hurting since I put them on. I don't know if it's just an annoying strong smell or if it's toxic, but I took them from my cats and threw them away. I've used all kinds of "smelly" products, but this was the worst.

Had a good deal (several cat families) and thought ok let's fight fleas. No, just no. ALL 5 cats got sick, the first two days everything was fine. Then they started behaving strangely, losing weight, lethargy, convulsions. A kitten had an upper respiratory infection (vet visit and antibiotics). The rest is back to normal, 1 1/2 weeks without collars and they are their normal happy kittens again. Not happy will not buy this brand again!

These collars are horrible and caused one of my cats to become really sick after less than 24 hours of wearing them. Luckily I got her to the vet in time and we were able to rescue her after a huge vet bill and multiple injections to get the toxin out of her system. I strongly recommend avoiding these collars at all costs. Waste your money on Frontline drops, it's not worth your cat's life.

Collars smell so bad my wife can't stand them. When we used them, the cats lay down and didn't move. You seem sick. I'm not sure if they're really sick or if they're just unhappy because they can't avoid the smell. We didn't see any dead fleas or live fleas, but the longest we gave them was maybe six hours, so it probably takes longer to start killing fleas. .
