Everything seems to work as advertised. A directional electric flux arrow would be a plus. However, the continuity tester solves this puzzle.

Worked great for what I needed. It was a bit more of a diode than I needed, but it was used to connect to a trailer backup light harness that was under my truck and exposed to the elements. Great diode and great buy!

Great design, I used it to turn on the fog lights without high beam feedback. The best part is that it is already in a shrink tube and has male and female quick connectors on both ends.

Installed relay in jeep but relay had no back emf/short circuit blocking. Since the relay coil was connected to spade terminals, it was easy to install a diode (tape to +) to prevent the collapsing magnetic field from generating EMF back into the jeep's electronics.

Had to buy one of these for a 1978 Jeep CJ5. After years of using the same ACDELCO alternator (GM type) and without any problems, the replacement caused feedback through the ignition. Internet searches mentioned using a diode and indeed the problem stopped. If your starter works after the key is turned off, the battery drains when all accessories are turned off - this is the solution.

While this is a lot more expensive than buying a diode, the fact that it comes pre-wired and sealed with heat shrink is more than worth it if spade terminals are required for your application. In my case, I connected it to a setup that already had spade connectors, so it worked great. I really can't say anything bad.

Worked great. When I switched to secondary headlight lenses in my f350, they separated the high and low beams. When you turn on the high beam, the truck will stop powering the low beam cable. I placed this diode in the high to low beam line so that when the low frequencies are on it doesn't provide current for the high frequencies, but when I turn on the high frequencies it maintains the low frequencies.
