Affordable and reliable

Used these for a tubeless conversion on my mtb. For the last year they have worked perfectly. Valve cores are still holding up well although they are finally about due for replacement after the last year of abuse. Would definately purchase these again.

Pros
  • Match my I9 Torch hub and Chris King headset perfectly
Cons
  • Low-quality materials used in manufacturing, leading to premature wear and tear

Stem popped through rim hole.

Mounted on a set of vision team alloy wheels for road use. Ran them at 75-80psi and had the stem pop through the hole in the rim twice while riding. Haven’t had that issue with other stem manufacturers. Maybe they fair better on mountain bikes with lower pressure.

Pros
  • Great valve, seals fully and no issues installing.
Cons
  • May negatively affect the overall balance and handling of the vehicle

Good looking stems that work really well.

These stems are well made and look really nice. I've had them installed for 2 weeks now and they have functioned flawlessly. It was really easy to remove the valve core and add sealant.

Pros
  • Works great
Cons
  • Requires additional maintenance and upkeep

Great Value 44 mm was plenty long!

I ordered the 44 mm version. The valve stem measured 44.8mm from the base of the stem, including rubber stopper, to the shoulder of threaded stem; not including valve core (see photo above). The overall length is slightly longer than what came off my 29" carbon Kappius rims and will work great on my trail bike. I wouldn't want it any longer. Each stem (package included 2) came with a presta valve core installed, screw nut, rubber o-ring on the stem that seats just below the screw nut and…

Pros
  • Great product got here fat no hassle no issues.
Cons
  • Can become easily clogged with debris and dirt

Leaky base. Won’t seal.

Maybe this will work for someone but not for me. I messed with it to the point of frustration. Once I used a different valve stem just to see.my leaks and problems went away. The restraining nut and washer seem to be mismatched. The edge of the nut just buried and dug into my rim.

Pros
  • Fast shipping. Kudos
Cons
  • Can be easily stolen due to small size and lack of security features

Inexpensive Tubeless valve stems

They're not name branded and may not have some of the fancy fittings like other brands (MucOff) may have, but they hold air well and will cost you a bunch less if you're looking to do a relatively "budget" tubeless setup with a splash of color.

Pros
  • Light and colorful. Works well.
Cons
  • Adds unnecessary weight to the vehicle, reducing fuel efficiency

Excellent tubeless stems from ACTUAL people

The stems are as good as any from Stan's, American Classic, etc. but cheaper, and the support from VeloTubes is superb. I will not hesitate to order from them in the future-- and as I'm up to 5 sets of tubeless wheels now, likely sooner than later.

Pros
  • 5 Grams Including Threaded Nut
Cons
  • Lacks compatibility with traditional tire repair methods
